Blood lights

I believe it depends on your eyes. They don't do anything for me. The simulators work. Awhile back there was a lot of excitement about the Sure-fire Chroma and how it made blood stand out. That didn't work for me either. If someone could show me one that worked as claimed I'd try again.

I have an awful time seeing blood, and if things are wet, well, I stand no chance.

I have become proficient at seeing hair, prints, and broken foliage indicating the wounded animal that others have missed though. Just wondering if one of these lights could help me with blood.

One of the new high output flashlights any time of day helps to light the nooks and crannies in fall light. If overcast or dark an old style Coleman lantern makes blood show up better than a flashlight especially on damp, for whatever reason. Propane does not. Be it my eyes or just the shading it works for me.

When I was in the States a couple of weeks ago they were selling them for $3:00 in Rural King (like TSC on steroids). That should tell you how well they work. I still bought one
