First, I am an AR-15 newbie.
I am about to buy a scope for my AR-15 and mount it on a quick release scope mount.
I am worried that the current fixed front sight will block part of the view.
Is this true?
I thought that changing my front sight to a flip-up sight would be a good idea to solve this.
I am going to install a tall gas block with a 1913 rail and a MBUS flip up sight.
Am I completely crazy or is there another/better approach?
Cheers
