Rem 700 SA trued action
24" Lilja 308 barrel
Insite arms Heathen brake
Athlon Cronus BTR 4.5-29x
F-Atlas Bipod (Put the Harris back on, this thing was a POS)
ERGO Grip

Deadline action with a McGowen CM blued prefit in 260AI, 7 twist, and big brake, MDT ESS chassis, MPOD and Athlon Cronus BTR in Burris XTR Sig rings.



Starting load testing at 285yds...



Looks like it will be a very accurate setup with Matrix 152gr match bullets.

I had to cut about 3/4" off my Cronus sunshade to fit a scope cap with my ESS chassis lol. Did you end up bedding the action with the MDT ESS?

yes, a skim bed was all that was needed.

But then I find that a skim bed is needed for pretty much every stock/chassis I have worked on... I like to have an exact action to stock/chassis fit.

That Ashbury is really cool. Is it a proprietary action or a trued Rem? I've handled one of their chassis before but never a full build.

My new Christensen Arms Modern Precision Rifle in 6.5 CM. The barrel is Carbon-Fibre wrapped for weight reduction along with a C-F Handguard and Cheek-Riser. The rifle weighs 8 lbs 3 Oz "naked" and under 12 lbs fuĺly-loaded & ready to shoot.

those two rounds in your SAP 2 round holder probably won't work very well with no primers, just saying...

^^^^ Empty cartridges I made for display only. The Range RSO gave me trouble when I placed the rifle on the rack with some live rounds on the holder. I have to remove them.
