Are Sig M17's coming to Canada?

I am looking to buy my next handgun and want to order a 19X, 509 Tactical and M17, try all three and keep my favorite. Iv'e noticed the M17 commemorative on dealer sites but it's a little pricey and am wondering if the basic M17 will be coming to Canada anytime soon. I know I could just get a P320 but I kind of like the colour on these three pistols, makes them a little different.

Twice the value...twice the price I guess.

They sell for $768US in the US. Almost a grand Canadian before import costs. The Commemorative version is even more. $1,122 US or $1,460 Cd.

Because the civilian model subsidizes the low profit margin of the government contract. The government contract is also a giant marketing to the civilian market.

Well in this case it isn't really twice the price after you do the exchange rate. I am not sure I would pay an extra $250 just to have a manual safety and night sights. The 320 X Five is a pretty nice pistol for playing the games which is all we can do with the guns anyway. A friend of mine has a 320 with the full size grip and loves it. The XFive is pretty flat shooting due to its bull barrel and weighted grip. For me paying the extra for the X5 was worth it but again, for me I would not pay the extra for the M17. I guess that is why girls come in different sizes.

At 800 or so dollars I would give it a shot but at twice the price of the 19x I think I’ll pass. I’ll let someone else do the subsidizing.
PS I love my 19x
