Masquelier Shotguns

Hi to all.
Some pics of the Masquelier both sides and damage to stock above trigger.
I had a gunsmith install a recoil pad to the original LOP of 14" to lengthen
it to 14 1/2". Unfortunately, he misunderstood and ended up with 14" LOP.
With my hunting coat on, it still fits me and I couldn't pursue the matter.
I have been told that a stock maker could repair the damage but, as it was
intended to be a shooter, I haven't worried about it.
The safety is also manual and remains off until activated.Gary's Pictures 012.jpgGary's Pictures 013.jpg
Thanks for your interest, Gary

Too bad he misunderstood you on the recoil pad. Since we don't see many of these shotguns I thought I'd post a few pics of mine to compare. Mine has the straight English stock with double triggers and extractors and 28" barrels. The length of pull s 14 3/8" from the front trigger. While it is a 12 gauge, it handles more like a 20. If I remember correctly it is from around 1927.
