Remington 600, .350 Rem Mag Thoughts

350 Rem Mag

Had two Rem Classics, one chambered in the 350 Mag and one in the 35 Whelan. Basically exact same rifle save action length. I personally found the 350 Mag rifle was a nasty little cuss on recoil with stouter loads, compared to the 35 Whelan. Maybe its just me. I also recall being disappointed when trying to slightly lengthen the COL with the 350 mag. I couldn't fit slightly lengthened rounds into the magazine well of the Classic. I still do retain an unexplained fascination with the 350 Mag and will probably try again soon but in a different rifle. I've always liked old Remington but I imagine a 350 Mag in a short little 600 wouldn't be the most pleasant rifle to shoot and 2200 seems very pricey.
