280 Ross Kynoch cases and Stainless steel pins

After wet drum cleaning 20 cases I took them out to lay them on a towel and notice pin across the mouth on one. Inspected them and found 6 like this. Comes out easily enough.

Did not see this with 7x57 cases.

Just a little larger diameter in the neck, you found the sweet spot for stuck pins.

I've had the same issue on a few as well.
The most concerning to me was with .223 . The pins ended up stacked around the inside of the base, kind of like a U-joint bearing and jammed in tighter than a nun's ###.

I've gotten into the habbit of putting all my .223 cases on an old miller table and letting them bounce their way across. It's sobering to see a few pins move over to the side chutes.
