243 with a 95gr

Hi any one worked up a load that will shoot a 95gr in a 1/10 twist ( I know it's not meant to be) but I have seen it done but lost the info the guy gave me it was at 200 yards and it was 95gr boat tail they were all touching each other at 200 yards. if any one has a load can you let me know thanks
looking at something like berger vld 95 or sierra tipped matchking 95gr, sierra gamechanger hunting bullet 90gr, berger classic hunter bullets 95gr, nosler ballistic tip hunting bullets 95gr, nosler accubond 95gr thanks

In my Savage, I loaded with both H4831 and H1000, but you have to understand that every rifle is different, you have to ladder test your own rifle.
 
Are you using for target or hunting ??

I have a Savage and a Ruger both with 1/10 twist and have several loads that work well in both. The Savage consistently out shoots the Ruger but both have proven themselves at the range and have taken game.

95 gr. Nosler Partition 37 gr. IMR 4895
95 gr. Nosler Ballistic Silvertip 40 gr. IMR 4350

For many years now I have switched to 85 gr Barnes X bullets and find they shoot just as well with better results.

thanks guys it for hunting when I get home for Xmass im going to put it all together its a Remington model 7 action that has been worked and trigger is done the barrel is ss made by the late and grate Bevin King the stock is a Alaskan and the scope is a VHD Leopold the action and barrel I have shot on a wood stock and it will put a 3 shot group all touching at 200yards with can tire ammo I used to test one day so looking foreword to getting it all done and some hand loads for it.
 
My Savage 1 in 9.25 twist really likes 95gr BT, BST's pushed by 39gr's of H4350. (Nosler's highest recommended charge for that powder and bullet weight.) The excellent Sierra 85gr BTHP with 35gr of Varget is another very accurate load in my gun.

Now I have shot 105gr lead tip that did not have a boat tail in this gun they work well but want to shoot a boat tail bullet were the 105gr you were using boat tails if so wat once did you use
 
42.5 grains of W760 under the 95 Partition has worked great in every rifle that I have tried it in.
 
I have been using the Berger 95gr VLD for 25 years in a 1/10 heavy 24" Douglas barrel...A stiff charge of IMR 4831 or Hodgdon414/Winchester760 give half minute accuracy and great velocity.

My go to hand loads for the Berger 95VLD...44gr IMR 4831 Average 2975fps @ -10 degrees C...44gr W760 or H414 Average 3043fps@ +2 degrees C...My brass is either new or only neck sized and it does make a difference for pressures...Full length sized brass will have higher pressure then neck sized and new brass always handles higher pressures better then used full length or neck sized brass...Hope this helps...These loads are deadly at range on a cold day out on the coyote prairie.
