Ammo in the clothes dryer?

No sure about the dryer but 100% you can have a pistol on your possession and be defibrillated 7 times in the ER and the pistol does not go off. Person had leg straps we didnt find till he had a pulse.

I think the dryer would be just fine for ammo so long as there's nothing for it to get stuck in. Also it may scratch your drum and or wear out the belt depending on the weight of brass put inside.

Shared a barracks with OPP tac team hopefuls a few times only issue was the klunk klunk klunk as the dryer spun round and round. Mighty annoying at 2:30 am.

In a similar vein, a friend of mine's wife was vacuuming in his reloading room. Several live primers (that had escaped earlier) got sucked up and destroyed the vacuum cleaner.

That probably did not help in marital bliss department.

My own experience makes me really doubt this

Ive had live ammo go through both the washer and dryer with no problems, more than a couple times. Primers get sucked up in the vacumm as well. So far no pops to be heard.

My wife called me down to the laundry room this morning to wave an empty brass casing in my face, asking me if I was trying to blow up the house. It was in my pants pocket after hunting yesterday. After telling her it was an empty case and no danger, it made me think, what would happen if a live round did take a trip through the dryer? Would there be enough heat to generate a cook off? Anyone know?

There a video of Hickok45 cooking some rounds in a pot and nothing happens except a pop . I suggest u watch the video. In the open the bullet doesn’t have any energy to really fly anywhere

I only have 1 question,... in what faerie tale land did you find these wives that do laundry?

Week one shrink her favorite sweater, week two slip something red into the white load, week three drink beer while she does laundry. Your welcome

Some of you guys really need to lay off the 420 blaze it. Its 2018 how do people still think ammo explodes like Hiroshima and bullets are shooting off like the wild west in heat/fire?
