You can special order the Traditions Kentucky Rifle .50 Caliber Muzzleloader Kit via Bass Pro Shop. It's a percussion kit so you will need a PAL.

My wife got me a traditions .32 Crockett kit for my birthday from Hill folk musket supplies. They had to order it in.

I see bass pro carries the one style, but not the one I'm after.

Another option is to find a finished kit for cheap and refinish it. They can be had for very cheap at gunshows and are often in next to new condition.

Just order a nice kit from track of the Wolf. 100 times the gun a cva is once you’ve finished it. Long as you don’t give up part ways through lol!

i just bought one from midwayusa and drove down to USA and picked it up, since black powder guns are not firearms in the USA there is no problem buying one

Nothing to be daring about, I phoned the BATF and customs and they said there was no problem, even black powder pistol are a non firearm in the USA

Black powder guns can be brought back easy. Restricted pistols have to be registered at the border though. Theres some hoops for them but non restricted can be brought in

Cabela’s in Regina has a kit Traditions Kentucky percussion. Saw it when I was there today, under the glass at Gun counter.
