Red Dot recommendations

So turns out I do have astigmatism :(

It's not super bad but the dot is more of a starbust looking pattern.

For just fun target shooting is it a big deal? I tried my prescription sunglasses, and my polarized sunglasses without much change.

Debating if I should return it and try a Prism optic or just get a low mag scope??

Open to suggestions :)

that sucks man.
i've read that if you turn the brightness down to the lowest you can use, it supposedly diminished the starburst pattern to varying degrees. If that doesnt help, then i'd get something that does work for you.

Have you had a chance to look through a Prism optic? I did try out the Vortex SPITFIRE AR 1x Prism Scope and was able to dial out the comet with my astigmatism. However, I felt I wanted to go with a variable magnification so I bought the 1-6x24 Strike Eagle on a really good Black Friday sale and I am very happy with my choice.

Not yet no.

I have one in a online shopping cart. Maybe I should try to see if a lgs has any type in stock so I can take a peek before ordering
