Sweet package...I'm 'LMT heavy' at the moment..:redface:
3 complete carbines..one 14.5" with an Elcan SpecterDR, and two 10.5" units, one with an Aimpoint M4 and one with an Eotech 553...
I guess I get the fascination with these wonderful devices!:D
 
Yeah I need an Eotech next with Larue, and need to convert it over to 7.62 308 goodness... Barrel should be no problem, but will need a new lower and some other parts..
 
fantastic AR USP !!!! I also like how the 590 is guarding the case :) How long did it take you to get everything to this point ?

Got it all done in about 6 months or so. The shottie is an 870/Norc its about 50/50 parts from each. 14 inch barrel, Speedfeed stock, Wilson Ghost tritiums, Surefire forend, Wilson +1 extender.

In case I get attacked by a bear on the way to the range...:eek:
 
I want it !! The MRP has serious bling... but what is its main advantage?

How does LMT compare to RRA and Stag - it's almost twice the price!

I dont think RRA or Stag offers MRPs. I thougth down the road I would switch this to a different calibre, nice that the barrel pops out easily.
 
There was talk that LMT would come out with a retrofit kit for the MRPs. But I dont think its been built yet.. heard this from those who were at the SHOT show this year. Piston seems interesting, but more like a novelty... The fit and finish on LMT is pretty good. Also must add that Troy and LArue products are seriously first rate. I am happy with the IOR as well, the optical clarity is very good.

Perhaps a UBR stock at a later date and hopefully a calibre conversion and Ill be done.
 
Will the current MRP version be obsolete when the gas piston conversion comes out? I read some stuff on arf that makes it seem like it's one or the other.. and that it won't be available for the 10.5"
