So I just got a gift from someone on the family and this product is a UUQ MIL scope with a laser and red dot installed. So it's like a 3 in one deal.

I have never used a scope before and I'm planning it to install on my brand new AR15.

My question is that in which sequence should I start zeroing in ? Should I adjust scope first or red dot? Is there a particular order?

Also what is the best way to zero in ? There are so many different videos on youtube which actually made it even harder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would sight in the scope first, then using a rest, once the scope is sighted in, just have the redot and scope match eachother, easy peezy

You have the option of dialing in all 3 at different zeros for different purposes. So technically it wouldn't matter what order.

It's been a couple years - could you give us a report on how this UUQ scope / optics combination has worked out? Has it proven reliable, or junk? This prices for these on amazon are pretty low, and the reviews are often quite good
Thanks
