I have a Crosman Optimus and a Phantom, and those rear sights don't belong even on a cap gun. Does anybody make a decent replacement?

Cheap Turkish ,Spanish and Chinese airguns all for the most part all have plastic breakable fiber optic open sights .Cut costs .......more profit.

The Crosman 'LPA Mim' rear sight seems decent enough, available on the Crosman Custom Shop site. $40USD, or $67CAD. Haven't been tempted personally as I prefer scopes, what with aging eyes and all, and when I do shoot iron sights it's with my Pardini K12 using a lens in a proper shooting glass frame plus an adjustable iris to make the front sight clear.

The 'LPA Mim' rear sight has a very wide rear notch so unless you match it with a very wide front sight you will have a difficult time at best attaining accuracy .The 'LPA Mim' rear sight is also a dovetail mount sized to fit the crosman replacement steel breech and will not likely just fit your rifle without some machining .
