New Hunter looking for a spot in South-western Ontario

If nothing else you can always hunt the county bush's. They do get hunted pretty hard,but it's somewhere to go if you can't get permission on any private land. Guy I used to work with spends most of the week long rifle hunt for deer in the county managed forests around his area, and gets a deer every year. He just tries finding a deer trail where 2 trails intersect other and sits near them. Other guys wandering around move the deer and he usually sees lots of deer. This past week he said he seen 27 deer just in county bushes.
It's only getting worse by the year. Our area of Norfolk is being sold to the highest bidder. Land/ housing prices are so expensive that the only ones that can afford it within the last few years are big corporate farmers who buy up every 100 acres they can. Sever the house and 1 acre and make back half their initial investment by just selling that house and the 1 acre. Seen over a dozen of these type of sales within the last year on local farms. Guess who is buying up all the 2-20 acre plots... The liberal bunny lovers selling all of their huge $ city properties and coming down here taking the rural out of the country.
I have hunted Southwester Ontario for decades and find now-a-days there are very few if any farmers that will let anyone hunt on their land (other then relatives). This is because some so called 'hunters' have torn up his land and crops with 4 wheelers, left behind garbage, broken fences and even shot (at) live stock. If there is a no trespassing sign or a red circle in the middle of a white background then the farmer will not allow any hunting what so ever on his land. And please don't just go in and start hunting as you may even find yourself the one be hunted by the irate farmer. If you do find a farmer who will let you hunt his property offer him some of your game as a thank you for him letting you hunt there.Always helps to create a good relationship between you and the farmer so he may even let hunt there again. This is the way its been in my area for awhile now. The ones with an acre of f-all that move from the city post it right away but then think they have free range for their kids to rip thru other peoples farm bush trails on their gator without asking. Then get pissy and hang up when asked politely to stay out when we are hunting. On the bright side the Dutchman that buys up the local farms here lets everyone hunt his properties. On the downside he lets EVERYONE hunt his properties. Lol
