Very nice , I love the grips , what are they ?

Mil-Tac grips (G10 composite, very tough), obviously i havent seen the gun in person yet, im gonna have to wait to see if i like the colour in person. I like Mil-Tac G10 grips in general and had them on my Les Baer 1911, but i prefer Black, the green/grayish colour on my Vickers Tactical that you see, was recommended by the guys at Nighthawk. Seeing the gun in person will make a BIG difference. Either way, there are 100's of different grips out there and they are a personal thing, very very easy to change.

I remember when you said you were ordering it in May and now its even closer to you. Great choice, what gr are you going to be shooting through her? Make sure to post an after range report with pictures!

Cheers

nice gun. Larry Vicker's knows how to customize a 1911 for sure.

funny thing is............ he carries a G19.

anyway, make sure and post a AAR for us.

Thank you, i think you will see Larry with different guns when teaching a class. No sense teaching any techniques or malfunction drills with a 1911, if your class is full of Glocks and HK's.

Thank you, i stick with good ole 230gr, i'll need to buy a camera to post pics when i get it.

That vickers is a nice gun, but mine sits on a tripod.;)

I just broke down and bought a 1911, but it's a High Standard.

Thanks, enjoy your new 1911 also.
