Where can one get an amourers wrench for my Stag-10? Also a lower block for the vice?
The forearm I got doesn’t have a wrench. There lies the problem.
Can’t use a AR-10 barrel nut wrench on a DPMS/SR-25 pattern rifle.
Get a receiver extension installed, and since that's a common part with an AR-15 you can then use this vice block from Geissele:

Geissele also makes a Reaction Rod for the AR-10:

As for an armorer's wrench, besides the standard barrel nut tool, most quality rails should come with their own armorers wrench or adapter to a socket set. A regular AR-15 armorers wrench and/or standard shop tools should handle everything else just fine.
I ain’t spending that kind of money for a one or possibly two time job, lol
These guys offer a much cheaper reaction rod

reaction rods are a poor choice for anything other than torquing muzzle devices. You're putting an incredible amount of force on the tiny little indexing pin and the aluminum slot on the barrel threads when torquing a barrel nut.
I bought these: https://www.plastixrevolution.net/products/223-ar-15-308-ar-10-upper-receiver-vise-block
can't beat the clamping area on the blocks.
Same kit as the AR-15 works fine? Used the wrench today to move the barrel nut 1/16" - 1/8". Handguard was canted just a bit...drove me nuts after a few weeks. I could see it was off in my 1-4x24 scope.
All the basic tools, punches, hammer, wrench, etc., worked for my Stag-10.
