I'm sure they have been threads about this before but now they have both but out for a bit I want to ask again. Bcl 102 is at an all time low price and I'm kinda leaning that way. What is the general consensus on which is the better pick?

Thanks for your time,

Ben

Better pick is a no brainer, Stag

Better deal... well depends on how tight your budget is and what you want out of it.

TNA has the BCL for as low as I’ve seen it - $1350ish?

They’re warranty is good, but seems like it gets used often... so you may get a shooter out of the box, or you may get a dud.

Stag is quality, so you pay a bit more for something that is nicer overall.
Ultimately though, end of the day, if you want to shoot and stick to a budget, the BCL sounds appetizing

I would say Stag 10 if I didn't pick 3 of them up but unfortunately two of my Stag 10 are lemons. For the price, I expect both are working right out of the box but both didn't have the gas black installed properly from factory.

-My first range visit, both were manual loader, I pulled the charging handle to cycle every second rounds. Eye balling the gas black and reinstalled it again.
-Second range visit, both are working but still wasn't enough gas to hold the bolt open on last rounds, was tested with 4 different kind of magazines. It's either the buffertube spring is too heavy or still not enough gas unfortunately.

I put one one EE.

Good news, my BCL 102 has seen about 500 rounds with different ammunition, not a single problem right out of the box. I must be lucky.

I was building a BCL102 from a receiver set, then the stag 10 came out. Sold my BCL reciever set and lost $400 on the it and I don't regret it at all. The Stag 10 reciever set was just sooo much better than the BCL102.

But seriously use the CGN search, there must be a dozen of these threads now.
