Best rifle for cats?

So you prefer invasive feral cats over the native wildlife they're exterminating? One of those groups are going to be wiped out, it just depends which one you want to pick.
I shoot every cat I see in the bush and not only don't feel bad about it, I feel good at having done something immediately effective to protect wildlife.

Ditto bigtime.

Nice attempt at being condescending however your conclusion that it is a big problem for the bird population is wrong.

The big problem is from the type of person that shoots at cats and other small wildlife also is the mindset that can't help but shoot at birds every chance that they get.

Any birds.

Have seen plenty of songbirds shot by idiots at every chance. Some can't even help themselves from nailing every robin they see at the range trying to get a worm.

So far have not had the luck to see someone shoot a cat.

Good luck with the excuses.

I don't think it's 220s conclusion, it's the conclusion of Environment Canada and conservationists.

Why do you hate native wildlife so much?

Again the pathetic 'nature Armageddon' you personally intervene and defend against?'

And of course you have to seek self justification. How brave and mature you are as a woodsman. Nature quakes in its boots at your approach and justice.

Laughable.

Why do you need to misrepresent issues and information to justify your juvenile target practice?

Why do you need to disturb the balance and course of nature so much?

Paper and steel targets and the bigger challenging game too much or too difficult?

Actually, that's not true. I feel a little bad, but then I remind myself that's insane, and letting a cat on the loose live to destroy wildlife would be the real cruel act.

Sounds to me you are the one being condescending and insulting here.
Please share your thoughts about hunting coyotes and feral pigs while we are at it. Sounds like you have interesting opinions.

A triumph of emotion over reason and science, sir. My hat's off to you for being able to sincerely hold views so free of reality.

The problem is we associate cats as "pets" - in the context of feral non-natives that are decimating native species they are no different than pythons in the Florida Everglades, zebra mussels in Alberta lakes, or Asian carp in rivers - the association we place on them is simply different.

As for the idiots shooting songbirds - that's a completely separate issue. Culling feral non native species is conservation, killing native songbirds which are protected by legislation is stupid and illegal.

They're not invasive, they're nature. Duh.

What's funny is even the small child in that video I posted understands that. Doesn't like killing, understands why it's necessary. A small child. Mull that over.

Milan, I don't want to blow your mind but...

They're teaching CHILDREN to take part in this murderous meddling with nature. CHILDREN! Won't someone think of the children!

Some people are not able to put emotions aside to think rationally so don't waste too much time trying.
Wonder if Milan is a vegan or vegetarian perhaps.

You need to hang out with a higher class of idiot. I've NEVER seen that in 25 years of hunting. Never. Would wonder why my judgement was so poor if I saw someone I was hunting with do that. You know what they say about the people you associate with being a reflection of you, right?

Several of my friends are vegan or vegetarian either for health or moral issues. Not one has an ethical issue with hunting or controlling invasive species. Even the people I know that don't personally feel they want to eat a cow aren't that disconnected from reality.
