Hello all
I have this old hex barrel .22 rimfire, all I know is the tag says it’s made in Belgium and made in 1890

Thanks in advance

That’s about all the information I could get out of it. No manufacturer or anything thought no markings on it that stand out

I tried to identify an old Belgian 22 (thread still on here) and found out that everyone in Belgium at the turn of the century that had a spare room manufactured firearms or parts for one company or another. Many makers were never registered and if they were the records have been lost over time. Have you taken the barred action out of the stock? There may be more markings on the underside. There are some Belgian makers marks websites if you can locate one on your rifle. Just courius, is it smooth bore or rifled?

I have had a couple of them, one was in 5mm and a matching ss pistol in 9mm rim.
Nice wood , and kind of cool, but don't seem to be much interest other than wall hangers.
