S&J Hardware 18.6" Dimpled Match Barrel Question

Being new to the AR building game I am wondering how the S&J Hardware 18.6" Dimpled Match Barrel .223 Whylde 1:8 barrels hold up.

Have there been any issue or concerns with the barrels?

Are they a decent barrel?

Installed one on my slr build. Might get it re-crowned, the finishing job is bad enough that on initial cleaning the patch hung up at the crown and had to be pushed through. Could feel the burr left there and see it on a borescope. I took it out, function tested to dial gas in and zero the scope that’s currently on it. (2.5-3 Moa @ 100yds) It’s smoothed out enough now that the patch on a jag doesn’t catch at the muzzle, but wondering how much it’s going to affect accuracy. This is also after having to return it to get cerakoted since it came bare stainless when I ordered black, and being told return shipping would be refunded which it never was.

2.5 - 3 MOA with what ammunition? I have one sitting here I was going to use in my ATRS MS build. I am hoping it can shoot 1 MOA with decent ammo, considering the price and weight of the thing.

That was average with Fiocchi factory ammo, 50gr polymer tip, 55gr fmj and 69gr match king. I was using various ammo to set up my gas for lightweight bcg and buffer setup, while also doing a quick sight-in. I haven’t done any real accuracy testing with it. For my MS build I am going with a Christensen carbon wrapped so I have higher hopes for that one. There is a good chance this barrel will be used primarily for blanks with a golf ball launcher but if I end up getting 1moa or better that could change...
 
Well that’s disappointing . Things been sitting in my safe next to my completed MVS lower just waiting to go in a upper . I might have to rethink it . When I bought it they claimed it would be 1 moa or better but after being soured by the dealer I’m sure they could have just made up random sh!t to sell these .

I take it you got this from one of our dealers.
As we have never been contacted abit this
We have sold 100s of these and evey one isshooting sub moa.
Even out first one that we 14.5inch are just around 1 moa

I guess I could see what would be the options there but I’m not really interested in paying to ship it back again, and the fit is really tight in this upper so that’s why I was leaning towards a local(ish) recrown if it doesn’t improve

That sounds like the type of response a crappy dealer gives when they're called out while trying to shift the blame to an imaginary dealer.
