PAL Wait Time

Wicked man! Hopefully we both can get our licenses fast like a few other people have recently. Really trying to not get my hopes too high though haha. Did you apply for RPAL?
 
My timeline

OCTOBER 22TH 2018 : APPLICATION SENT

OCTOBER 25TH 2018 : APPLICATION RECEIVED BY RCMP

NOVEMBER 22TH : APPLICATION SHOW UP ONLINE

NOVEMBER 29TH : CALL RCMP, TOLD NO INFORMATIONS ARE MISSING, AND TO CALL BACK "IN A FEW WEEKS" IF I DONT RECEIVE MY PAL.
 
Here’s my timeline thus far.
Oct 29 day 1 of pal course
Oct.30th day 2
Oct 31. RPAL course.
Nov2. Mailed out test results stamped. Photo and all information via xpresspost national
Nov.6 package signed for in mirimichi
Nov 27 CC charged the 80$ and stats online says initial processing completed application in progress.

Nov 30. (Today) called the main number to ask if any info was missing or not filled out correctly. It was all done correctly and was told my photo was going to be scanned and sent off for finalization.

Now I read in this thread you can be flagged for incidents from the 90s??

So far the intitial bit has gone very fast. In alberts by the way. But it seems wait times and screening levels or delays are entirely random. So if I’m a lucky one I got a week or so left. If I am not. Like a year.
 
Are you a first time applicant? Mine received on nov 8th and from alberta as well. Hopefully according to your timeline I should see my cc charged next week.

Yeah man. Mine is currently awaiting photo scan. They charged my cc on the 27 or 28. But the initial waits are fast. It’s how long the cfo takes. If you need references. If they find any police interaction you get flagged for the 120 day investigation. That’s where the real nasty waits go. but yeah I would bet Tuesday you will be billed. Let me know your time lines too man. Mine is awaiting photo scan I’m going to attempt to not look for a week. By attempt. I mean check every time I take a dump. ��

Received Stamped Paperwork Oct. 31

Sent out Application (stupidly by regular mail, no tracking), with money order Nov. 2

Still waiting...

I've been checking the site daily for the past couple weeks to see if my application shows up online. So far, nothing.

You won’t see anything for a while. Probably 20 ish days from the date hey received it. Plus a week mailing time by regular mail. I know you sent money order. visa it’s easy to see. The first thing they do is bill your visa. I knew mine was going when it showed up on my visa.
 
I will buddy! Getting cc charged tomorrow or Tuesday makes sense to me according to your timeline but seems hard to find any rhyme or rhythm in this process. I'm a first time applicant with at most a speeding ticket on my record. Although I am only 19 so not sure if that'll play a role in cfo wait times.

There’s totally no rhyme or reason to it. Age isn’t a factor. Yours will come before mine. I promise. But CC charges seem to be 20 days post receiving. I used registered mail and expressed it.

Thanks for the reply! I figured as much. I should have paid with visa but oh well.

Curious what time of day you finally noticed ur cc charged and app was online? Ive been checking way too often today lol
