AR-15's

Awesome content, looking to purchase my first AR. I've been thinking either Ruger mpr, or Springfield saint. Can anyone weigh in on either firearm?

Mildly upgraded S&W M&P 15 Sport II. ;)

I have the same plastics as you. Great look. Mine are grey.

What scope is this?

What a beauty.

Ok so she finally arrived... I snapped some photos to post, since I've been awake for like 40 hours (hey I decided to wait untill it got here today :D ) they're not the greatest but they do the job.

The first one is pretty much as I opened the box and got everything but the AR out

Very nice.

With a snap of a finger from Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet, all the pics I've ever posted in this thread and every other thread on CGN, have been wiped from existence due to the recent censorship of Blogger/########, so I guess I'll be starting from scratch again.

Here's a shot of a few rifles that some would probably consider a bit retro now - cheese graters :)

Actually, this is just a repost from another thread.

Well said and well worth it.

Joining the party with my first firearm purchase, the Colt Reissue Vietnam War M16A1. Buy once cry once I suppose?
Got my 1965 manufactured & dated flak jacket from a collector south of the DMZ the very same day, how cool is that.
Looking to complete an early war Vietnam War Grunt impression, will keep you guys posted!
Glad to be here, ARs are awesome!

I really like the Magpul SL furniture, the grip is the MOE-K2+. Agreed on the look, she’s a beauty.

Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24 fitted with a Vortex Switchview Throw Lever, mounted in a Burris P.E.P.R. QD. Bought it at a great Black Friday price at my LGS.

So a member of the club I belong to and a fellow cgner who have purchased 4 firearms from me I the past year laid down a challenge this past fall for me to build him the cheapest AR15 possible while only using new parts. The only criteria is that it has to be either rifle or carbine length because he is trying to get into 3 gun on a budget. After all the testing of my build and waiting for the transfer, I am happy to say that he finally picked up his setup today. What he got is a two tone BCL build that started as an $89 stripped lower and upper and ended up as a $550 sub MOA 14" carbine. I also sold him my matching two tone Norc NP34 which I threaded and crowned for what I paid for it. Even after taxes and delivery it was only $300. I hope he is happy with the set up. It's too bad he didn't ask me earlier because as many of you who know me knows that earlier in the year, I sold a bnib unfied mossy 930 with 5 chokes to another club member for $550 and still made a bit of money. So it is possible to get into 3 gun with style for under $1500 and still wow the other club members.lol. l had my 3x9 on there only for accuracy testing.
