This is a proposed folding stock for the WK180-C, comments please.

Absolutely love it. Completely changes the aesthetics of the rifle, for the better.

Hmmm...not a fan. Looks bulky and LOP looks insane.

I'm 6'2" and I run my WK-180 stock almost fully collapsed to get optimal LOP. On a full length rifle I prefer an A1 LOP of 12.75", when fully extended the factory WK stock is 15". It's ridiculously long, this thing looks even longer!

What we need is a lightweight tubular option that eliminates that large milled piece that accepts the AR buffer tube. All that is needed is a thin plate with fixed lightweight aluminum stock. It doesn't need to fold or adjust, weight and rigidity is far more important.

I agree with most of this... it needs to be solid, does not need to be adjustable, I agree. It DOES need to fold, though, IMO. Lots of solid folding-mechanism designs.... original Galil style or ACR style folding mechanisms for example

Exactly what I have been saying.
The original AR18 style stock or ACE skeleton style, just make the hinge mechanism more solid like the XCR FAST stock or Galil etc
It doesnt have to collapse and it doesnt have to be an ar15 type. That's one of the best features of the design so why make it bulky and awkward to adapt it to a stock system it doesn't need?

Am unlikely to buy a WK180-C with the original buttstock design. A folding stock is the second most likely* feature that could make me buyer. This prototype would do.

*The most likely, in fact nearly certain thing would be cocking handle on the other side so load/unload can be done with the left hand without removing the right hand from the pistol grip. And I know how likely that isn't to happen because it's too much re-engineering.

Charging handle is reversable. Go order one....

The authors of most of the last dozen or so posts are behind the times. The stock design shown in post# 162 was rejected months ago. It is no longer on the table, and you are wasting bandwidth commenting on it.

lol! You've apparently slept through most of the discussions about this rifle. And I guess you've never seen a photo of the left side of the receiver?? The charging handle can be switched to either side.

Looks a little chunky and it seems like the butt pad meets the shoulder too low. I would prefer to have a foldable and collapsible stock that looks and performs similar to a Magpul ACS carbine stock with an adjustable cheek weld (storage would convenient). Should I keep dreaming?

Is there anyway to have just a foldable adapter for the receiver extension tube?

Thanks
