Browning parts in canada?

Does anyone know if there is a canadian vendor that stocks browning parts? I have a broken band on a bl22 that needs to be replaced.

Browning will not sell a lot of parts unless they are gunsmith installed. I tried to by a trigger from them & it was impossible. Thankfully I found one on this site for a reasonable price. It took me approx 15 minutes to install. I like browning but I sure don't like their parts program.

Should the OP take up the information from guntech it would be in his best interest to have the make model and serial number and even the part number for the barrel band for his .22

The more than helpful lady who answers the phone will ask you this pdq in the conversation.

She will either be able to help you or she will ask if you are a certified gunsmith somewhere in this conversation too.

^ This , I've bought a few Browning parts off of Erv over the years , I picked up a new X Bolt trigger there this past spring . As above though , it will help a lot if you have a part number .

So I have read. And she's a tight fit too which makes breakage more likely. I see duct tape in the future lol. Just kidding. A nice blued steel one would be wonderful. Oh well.

UPDATE:

Well it took me all of 4 minutes on my lunch break. I sent an email to Western Gun Parts. I had a reply so fast I honestly dont know how they managed to type it up and get it to me in that time!!

Part in stock, $30+ sh. And they even warned me that it only has a pilot hole from browning and requires fitting which explains all the stories I've read over the last 24 hrs of disappointed bl22 owners who are breaking their bands trying to install them haha!

To buy Browning parts the Browning company has always directed me to " Wm. Long Gunsmithing " 905-797-2700.

They are near Peterborough , N/E of Toronto about 1 1/2 hrs. drive.
