Hopefully North Sylva is on the ball to get these imported ASAP!
I wouldn't call them overpriced. If you compare the Tavor or X95 to a comparable AR-15 (Daniel Defense, Colt Canada, etc) they're right in the same price range. I'd expect the Tavor 7 to be similarly priced based off U.S. pricing I've seen.Screw that, I hope IRG beats them to marketBut with NR AR10s in Canada now, an overprice bullpup will be a hard sell ...
Wicked! Not sure if I will pick one up or not, the MDR was to be my next bullpup
The system isn't that solid, take out out training, and you realize real quick their shortcomings.
Can you elaborate on this?

I was going to grab a Stag-10 for awhile myself, but if these are coming then I'm definitely going to wait. The Tavor 7 seems to have taken all the feedback from previous generation Tavors and created a system that's really solid. Plus all the general bullpup benefits like better weight distribution and shorter overall length.
Yeah right along with the quality AR-10 platforms like the DD5 and a nicely setup Stag-10$2100 US .... I'm guessing $3,000 CAD at least ?
I disagree 100% and say the opposite. AR-15's are worse ergos in my opinion. All preferences. Also ergonomics for anything but off hand shooting suck with tavors .
A shiny new X95 needs 600$ for a trigger pack and another 200$ for a trigger
Shooting in awkward positions behind cover caused some FTE for me. again more training may rectify this issue, but the last thing I wanna do is worry about were my arm is to the ejection pattern.
different manual of arms so more training is needed and this was really apparent for me during covering and movement drills. as I fall back to my AR training under stress.
Unless you upgrade your shell deflector you will be eating brass during transition drills.
Your shiny new X95 need a GHW port cover to stop the blowback
I must be forgetting a few things but this is why i went back to ARs as my main training platform. But I do break out the X95 once in a while to remind myself how much I love ARs.
Accuracy of my X95 is worse than that POS T97 i used to own...lol..
I still haven't taken apart or clean my X95 since I got it. well over 4K rounds now and Thats pretty cool from a reliability standpoint. But I built my MVs for half the price, have a better trigger, will be lighter and should be MOA without fancy reloads.
For me the biggest issue is the manual of arms, I cant undo 20 years of AR training.
If the Tavor 7 is MOA or better its a winner in my books for a cool compact hunting rig.

Gonna stick to the MDR
