"BUTT OUT" ..... What next?

An old hunter once taught me how to use a simlar device when gutting a deer. Its more commonly available and is far less expensive. Its called a stick.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

Aside from possibly making it slightly easier to pull the anal canal out far enough to tie it, how is this gizmo going to be of any use?

I still can't stop trying to figure out how and what the heck Supercub was doing when he found that? I mean, do you just fall upon this stuff by accident, .....do you?

wouldn't want to loose that in the truck and then accidently sit on it  :runaway: explain that in the emergency ward

More risky would be to leave that in plain sight inside the house and then boldly walk in with that absolutely unnecessary (in her opinion) big ticket firearm purchase :D

Butt Out Big Game Dressing Tool

Proper care of harvested animals in the field is essential to having quality, great-tasting game. With the Butt Out big game field dressing tool, hunters can quickly and easily remove the anal alimentary canal on deer and deer-sized game.

At the start of the field dressing process, the tool should be inserted to the handle into the deer’s anal cavity, then turn it approximately 1-1/2 turns and use the handle to pull out a 10-inch section of the deer’s intestine, which can then be cut off. Then the rest of the field dressing job can be done quickly.

The Butt Out is light and compact; making it easy to carry in the field and it can be easily cleaned and disinfected for re-use.

That looks like a toy, a girl I once dated used. God do I miss her!

Dave.
