Why aren't swift bullets more common up here?

From what I understand they only make premium bonded, hunting bullets. Having a vague idea of what a nuisance the import process is, the narrow market they'd service probably isn't worth it.

The A-Frame has always been a very, very good bullet. Like a Partition, with the front section bonded. [Read - tougher than a Partition]
The Scirocco II is also quite a tough bullet, and will hold together under the most severe conditions. I have a few dug out of game...
They look very good, even when breaking big bone. They can be a bit finiky to get to shoot well, but by experimenting, the holy grail
can be found. Dave.

Swift's freight from Kansas to Canada is very expensive on their mininum $5000USD shipment. And then you have the import permit hassles. Poor marketing in Canada, and no entry level price point bullet to catch the average consumer.

The Swift is a harder bullet and will out-penetrate an Accubond most of the time, and retain more weight. I had a bit of
a game going where Id try to get two reds with one shot with a 257 Weatherby. Did that with 100 grain Sciroccos a half a dozen times and the bullet would exit the second one as well.

The Accubond is very likely to kill faster due to partial fragmentation, especially on smaller game.

We had a small merchant - cidistribution -who advertised on this board that sold Swift Bullets and Triggers. I ordered bullets from him several times over a couple of years as his costs- bullets and shipping - were very reasonable. I don't know why he decided to close up shop last year but I really miss his service.

Dogleg,
Would say on average scirocco vs accubond, aframe vs partition that one brand tended to be more accurate than the other?

If I had to bet on the accuracy out-come I'd pick the Accubond over the Scirocco 11. Between the A-Frame and the Partition its a tougher call; its not hard to find rifles that hate either one of them. That one could go either way.
