ordering a barrel and need a scope mount aswell. What do you guys prefer action mounted or the barrel mounted model?

My takedown has the barrel mounted cantalever mount. Always returns to zero after cleaning and why wouldn’t it being part of the barrel itself. Money well spent

I havn't tried one yet, but I am definately not opposed to a barrel mounted cantalever mount.

I was going to go with it but I have a very small worry in the back of my brain about flex with a heavier optic.

There’s a 6-14 x40 scope on mine. Absolutely no flex, it’s not flimsy .
