Does anyone have one and if so can you tell me if you grab it mounted to your rail and lift or move the ocular (rear) end side to side is there play?
feels like a small amount of spring action? is this supposed to work with a small amount of play and then return to zero?
thanks in advance.

1-4 seems to use the same mount. Yes the rear is under spring tension. If your mount was not steady your accuracy would suffer. If it shoots well under various angles it's working properly.

I just picked up a 1.5 - 6 DR. Question for current owners: does the entire reticle illuminate for you or just partially? I'm referring to the stadia lines/crosshairs and not the red dot only illumination option.

The crosshairs do not illuminate fully on mine, i.e. fades out at the edges... the lower ranging lines at the edge of the scope cannot really be seen. Totally usable as the center of the scope is bright and sharp. I've been told this is correct i.e. how the scope behaves out of the factory box, but seems off to me. Anyone else experience this?

Thx!

This is normal. The full reticle illumination is only meant to be used in low/no light conditions.

Ah thx 1-20. Wanted to confirm without spending thousands on a brand new one lol.

That's super interesting... you'd think Elcan would go the distance to illuminate everything. Every illuminated Leupold/NightForce I've had, illumination does not bleed off at the edge of the crosshairs.

Probably worthy of a new thread, but my opinion is to go with 1-4 vs the 1.5-6, now that I've had a weekend with the thing.

Cheers.

Just had my 1.5*6 out last weekend for the first time. Super crisp and very easy to use. Have used trijcon in the past and really liked this one.
