It sure is a nice one but id prefer one with plastic furniture. I intend to drag this shotgun trough hell and back, it would be a shame to damage such a nice stock. And i would probably save a few buck by grabbing a plastic one
Guns are meant to be used. Some for targets, some for hunting, some for killing enemy soldiers. None are made to hang out in gun safes chatting with other guns about how horrible it is “outside” and how Jerry got a stock scratch “out there”. Buy whichever gun makes you happy and use the heck out of it. When someone asks you about the scratches, worn spots etc, tell them the story of how you shot a limit of ducks and were trying to get back to the truck in time to pick your kids up when you stepped in a hole and fell on your gun, then used it to help yourself up because the decoys and dead ducks were weighing you down.
Or you know, whichever story happens to you while you’re out using your gun as it was intended to be used. None of em are ever gonna make us rich because they stayed shiny new.
