My favorite parts of the video were when they were firing the rifle, especially at 100 yds indoors.

Pretty sure they are 20" it said 510mm barrel on the website which is roughly 20"
Barrel, bolt and receiver are typical tikka quality. The stock is not as nice as a factory tikka centerfire stock. I sold mine cuz I don’t need it. Too many rimfire gping on. Mine shot very well. Especially with Aguila superextra I think is what the ammo eez called. Very handy little rifle with the 16” barrel. Prob my most fun bolt action 22 out of all my rimfires

The stock for the rimfires are exactly the same as the centerfire guns minus the recoil pad. The receiver is the same receiver as their centerfire guns just milled out to be a rimfire. They did it on purpose so you could use the same stocks and grips as the centerfires.

Well that was fast.
I’m going to purchase a T1x in .17 as my first rifle (take my courses in January). Hoping come spring the backorders have been filled and this will find itself as a regularly stocked item across the country. I’m pretty excited

I don’t want to sway you but as a first gun I would go 22lr for many many reasons but the main one is that AMMO is the most expensive part of this hobby nothing compares to what you spend on Ammo and 22lr ammo is far cheaper then 17hmr.
Just my 7 cents which is what decent 22lr will run you. There’s a reason the range is always full of 22lr and 7.62x39 and 223 because those are the cheap ones.
