Curious if it's worth getting one? I have many other pistols that I think are similar like the hk sfp9, m&p 2.0, cz shadows 1 and 2, Springfield xdm, etc.

The PPQ has a well deserved reputation for being extremely accurate. It comes with an excellent trigger. Mine was, as advertised 5.6lb. and I am told it will fall below 5lbs with use. The grip comes with three backstraps. I wear a medium large golf glove and use the large grip panel. The gun comes Optic ready with plates for the most popular Optics. It is well made. Biggest negative, in Canada it only has a two year warranty to the original buyer. The PPQ and SIGXFive are two of the leading edge striker fired guns. I have them both. The trigger on the PPQ, because the striker is full set has the better trigger. If you are planning to put an optic on the gun I have found the X Five is the better choice due to the gun being heavier by virtue of its Bull barrel and the tungsten insert in the grip. The barrel does not rise as much under recoil for me. It does make for faster shooting. The PPQ's front and rear sights can be changed out in five minutes with nothing more than a screwdriver which may or may not be of interest to you.

If you do not intend to put an optic on the gun buy the PPQ M2 5". Everything I said about the PPQ Match applies to the M2 5" other than the slide is not cut for an Optic sight. The trigger pulls are identical (mine were both 5.6lbs) as both enjoy the same trigger group. The Match's trigger is blue while the M2 is black. Colour is the only difference other than the price.

Hope this helps.

Take Care

I was looking at the one tenda has for sale but not sure if that optic is removable and how I feel about the gray frame.

I was looking at the one too. The optic is removable and there's a plate you can put in it's place. It looks like you can only use the the Shield RMSc red dot with that one though. I could be wrong on that one though. For the price Tenda has it for it'd say it's a pretty good deal. The standard Q5 Match you get the different plates to run different optics. I ran the Q5 Match this year in production optics. It ran flawlessly, the trigger is outstanding and the accuracy is great. The only real downside is the muzzle flip. It's a bit more snappy than most but if you run lighter loads and a practice lots then it's not really a problem.

In my young shooter estimation it's one of the best polymer guns you can get, and revered by match shooters for good reason. Less than the CZ Shadow 2, just as accurate, with as good or better a trigger. Of course this is me repeating opinions I've heard, not seen. But the guys at my range who have this love it. Would buy without hesitation if I was shooting in competitions.

I've run a PPQ M1 Navy in competition for he last 3 years. It is a great pistol and has an amazing trigger. It supplanted my Glocks and CZ SP01 as my go to. The Q5 match I've shot are excellent as well. That said, Canuck44 makes great points re: optic ready or not.

I bought one used from EE... just waiting for it to arrive.

No intention of shooting IPSC - but still revere my P99 to this day, the standard benchmark by which all polymer strikers should be measured against (ahem yes including Glocks) in my opinion - and keen on what Walther has done to improve upon a perfect auto pistol. They are an under appreciated brand for sure.

Hey, James Bond gots one!
