CANSOF IUR Clone thread

Just wondering if you guys are planning on getting in any more the limited rotation Grovtec sling mounts. Would prefer to use that on one of these than the RSA or the free rotating version you still have in stock

Well if we want to be clone correct (code for “picky”) then you’d have to put the 11.5 barrel on your IUR upper if you wanted to make a true CANSOF IUR clone

Very true, but at this time nobody is selling colt 11.5” barrels without buying an MRR upper and to my knowledge only one guy outside of CANSOF has taken the time and expense to do so, and to replace a colt Canada barrel with some pig slop generic 11.5” just seemed stupid when I built mine.

I did it it’s lighter than the 10 inch, a little more accurate, and definitely the smoothest shooting rifle I own. Actually the AE collar and shaving off the grenade launcher lug is the only reason I can’t call it finished

Nicely done. Most have snagged one of the last ones, still haven't been able to land my hands on one...

If you can find a mrr barrel.

And while colt canada barrels are excellent there are other manufacturers like bcm, dd, and fn to name a few that make excellent chf barrels as well.

No idea. It’s up to Nordic I guess. There is none of this special run only nonsense though. If you have a large enough order CC will make you anything config you want for the most part.
