Hill Country Rifles...thoughts, impressions?

Considering picking up one of these (used) in their Hunter Feild Stalker line up. Don't know much about them expect for the website info, few videos and such. Can't find many reviews. They seem pricey but well made. https://www.hillcountryrifles.com/product-category/hunting-rifles/

Anyone have any input or experience on them?

Looks like a Rem 700 wearing a McMillan with a crazy price tag.

Stiller precision action, Benchmark Barrel with cerokote, Mcmillian stock, Timmey Trigger and apparently excellent bedding job with a .5"moa with factory ammo.

I don't think they are Rem a with a McMillan stock thrown on. But I'm also not sure if its worth the price thats being asked.

The one I am looking at is high $3000's with a swaro z3 3-9x42 scope. Excellent condition.

I'm not sure I would pay the price of a new one in USD with our exchange.

If so, I've fondled it at the store and it's a beautiful firearm. Just not chambered in a caliber I wanted to bring home.

There's lots of excellent gunsmiths around in Canada that can build as good a rifle or better and you can get exactly what you want.

I handled one a few years ago, nice rifle. I'd say it's on par with Jarrett, Bansner, Rifles Inc. With the components you listed, including the scope, I don't think you can get one built for that price here, and it won't say Hill Country Rifles on the action.

I contacted Gary from Bighorn. It's going to be very hard to beat that price.
