.35 Remington for Moose

naw, a 35 cal 200 gr @ 2100 fps isnt really comparable to a 30 cal 125 gr @ 2300 fps. Get real

Oh well a 30 cal 125 gr @ 2300 fps on 75 yards should be compared to a 35 cal 200 gr@2100 fps on 150 yards, I guess? But of course you can push the envelope. :D

no, its not comparable. its a tiny POS bullet, which isnt going to give good results when fired into 800+ lb animals

125gr @ 2300fps? no thanks.

100gr @ 3000fps (243 win) is Light for dear and bear. and thats with a competent marksmen.

from your reports I wouldn't put you in that catagory....

yea know I need a definition of PLAY NICE? like what no kickin sand in the face or bannok slapping or showin off the pimp hand? WHAT dammit, I could try and see things from his perspective but I am afraid theres not nuff ridelin and T3s to combine to get there !

Go shoot the rigby for a while. Hold the stock to your head.

But in the meantime, play nice :) and no... that does NOT mean just giving him time to go put on a 'cup'.

isn't 7.62x39mm comparable to 30-30, with similar bullet weights?

125gr @ 2300 vs. 150gr @ 2400fps

look at it percentage wise 25gr and 100fps becomes a substancial difference. lets not forget bullet selection and accuracy of chambered firearms. wins go to the .30-30 in both cases.
