New Reactive Targets - cheap and eco friendly

Just picked up a set of Eco target molds from Pyramid Air (online air gun supply shop).

Made a batch last night and starting a second batch now. I like the fact that once i shoot these all that is left is colored water, no clean up after shooting. Best part will be that my drinks will stay cool in the cooler.

Once I go and shoot a few i will post a video of the impact.

The big target is a little smaller than a regular clay pigeon and the small one are about the size of two loonies.

AND... crackers or cookies attract gophers to the target area... making even more eco friendly targets lol

Every year the day or two after Easter I buy a bunch of “peeps” little sugar candies shaped like chicks and bunnies. After Easter they’re usually .50c per doz.

Neat! Seems like a great idea, I have a bunch of random ice cube molds at home that may make some great reactive targets. I will have to try this!

Someone said "hardtack" makes for a good target.

Every year the day or two after Easter I buy a bunch of “peeps” little sugar candies shaped like chicks and bunnies. After Easter they’re usually .50c per doz.

And if you stack enough peeps they can stop a .22LR as demonstrated by Kirtsen Joy Weiss on her uttube channel

Hey Ridersfan I would love nothing better than to be out there with you shooting gophers. As I am a paraplegic in a wheelchair I find it very hard to go out and practice long shots on moving targets. Too bad there isn't a way to make gopher (vermin) hunting a business.

There's a guy that shoots at my range that's a paraplegic... he just rolls on up onto the range in his vehicle and shoots out his window. It's gotta get loud in there doing that. But he's gotten some gophers on the range.
