2018 Upland birds, post your picks!

We had a good but short season this year.
This might be the last rooster this old dog pins down, She's had a great career with countless birds in the bag and a few field titles under her belt to boot.

If you'er into upland and gun dogs check out Canadain Upland Hunting on FB.

Congrats to your old gal. She's got the a distinctly "been there, done that" look on her face of a true field veteran!

Cheers,

I stitched together some pics and video clips from my 2018 rooster season with Pearl. If you like Stan Rogers, this is for you. If you’re waiting for kill shots - sorry, there aren’t any (I only mess around with the camera or phone for retrieves or for flushing birds after we’ve limited out and are on our way back to the car). Pearl and I generally hunt alone, fast and quietly - the wife and I don’t buy much chicken from October to December! At four years old she’s really come into her own. My only complaint is that our shared passion for pheasant hunting has put a real dent in my duck hunting. As a result that mallard is one of the only two ducks we got this year. Can’t wait for this fall!
