And need some ammunition looking for 500-1000 rds
I do reload but this is the most cost effective way to get brass

Just about every major manufacturer makes new unprimed brass for sale. New unprimed brass is Starline's main business.
Or you could post a "want to buy" add on th EE for parts, seeking .357mag brass....

The numbers put making your own at 480$ ish for cast bullets
And 550$ ish for loaded jsp for a 1000
It’s roughly 240$ for 1000 brass

Just got a 686 too, but I have no need for .357 to punch paper with, so bought a bunch of .38 special from Tenda.
