Not to defend Marstar, as their reputation here isn't exactly A+... but you're #####ing because they're having a sale?

Many vendors on CGN didn't do a sale at all for Boxing Day - should we expect a complaint about them?

While I admit, 5% off isn't going to draw me in and make a sale, they could very well have offered nothing at all.
 
5% of a $349.99 case of 7.62x54R would be $332.49/case Its not something to write home about but if your low on crates you won't do better.

Clarify shipping before ordering though from personal exp this store seems to delay the calculation on shipping until the sale is over and then ships the item telling you same day what shipping was. I bought 54R a couple years ago from them for what I thought was a good price all other crates listed free shipping and I Assumed they just didn't update all the crates. I was charged something silly like $65 for shipping. This made the crate about the same price as buying local at the time. That was the last purchase I ever made from Marstar. If memory is right the cases were $225 at the time and local was about 280-300 avg. I would buy again if they would publish shipping prices but since they are calculated later in secret I stopped buying there. It would not have been a big deal if they at least called to confirm shipping before charging the card and shipping then sending the email,

It's a bit of a slap in the face when places run massive deals based completely around consumerism holidays.

I always end up buying stuff before boxing day sales, before black friday, I guess that's my bad.

But like my recent maple ridge order, it certainly doesn't make me feel great that by finalllly saving up enough money and ponying up purchasing their product between black Friday and boxing day - was basically me making mistake, I should have waited. Oh well.

Point being no one is butt hurt if their favorite vendor doesn't run a sale.. at least I'm not.
