Hey folks,

Pretty new to firearm modifications so I thought maybe you could help. I just bought an SA20 and I have NO idea whether or not the stock handguard can be outfitted with a rail for a bipod or foregrip. Would I have to purchase a new handguard or are those ports on the stock able to accommodate accessories. Thanks in advance!

You can bolt on rail section thru the handguard. The rail we have at work is made by Cadex but some other will work.

I have a rail section at home if you want it (no bolts or mounting bracket)

Rail mounted on C8/SA15.7 handguard

Awesome! Thanks for the info! There's a supply store in town here I can grab one but thanks very much for the offer. Greatly appreciated :)

I think DT's offer may possibly be more colt authentic. The built in shim underneath the rail is a smart idea.

Also try Nordic Marksman. Site sponsor. Banner up top. They carry CC parts too.

I got my rail directly from Cadex for my SA20, just because they're south of Montreal when I was living there

Issued guns can get a cadex rail which can be mounted at the 6 o clock or 12 o clock position on the handguards.

There is no point having the rail at 12:00. I will put it at the 12 only because I don’t use a vert grip if I get issued one that has the rail.
