Fish and Game Association opposes Jason Kenney's proposal to sell Crown land

FLYBYU44, do you really think by the sale of some land all animal habitat would just be eliminated? do you have any idea even where peace river is? Have you ever flow over the vast expanse on forest ‘habitat’ in northern Alberta? Do you have any clue how most of the west was settled in the first place? Dude wake up. All of northern Alberta was settled by developing land in a similar manner, only the government gave it away. You people in the prairies have absolutely no clue.

I have actually been to more places in Alberta than most people that live there, but keep making assumptions. You sell all the crown land off you can't get it back again. And to show how truely ignorant you are, the vast majority of Alberta is prairies as well.

A lot of that country is "useless" muskeg, more is just plain unsuitable for agriculture. :)

Possibly the most assine thing I have read. So we should have no land for nature or animals of any kind? The land is existing as nature, why does it have to be used for anything? By your reasoning we should destroy everything and just build it up. If that land gets in private hands that is exactly what will happen, you are putting a price on nature.

Possibly the stupidest reply I have read. We have more deer, turkey and geese in southern ontario then in the north. There is alot of nature around here and it is managed well. The land is valued here and is not abused because it is held by a private individual that values it. I look around here and see farms and nature existing just fine. Maybe you should buy some and do your part to feed the wild life or let it sit while you pay some taxes on it.

Sounds good, I can fence it all in and charge "smart" people like you with trespassing.

You will not need to because I buy my own land and pay my own way. If I need more land to hunt on I go get permission from land owners. There are places where the government owns all the land maybe you should go there, it would be your utopia.
