Leupold mk5 5-25x56

I've got 2 of them, both with the CCH reticle, one on my match rifle and one on my backup/practice rifle. I really like them. Prior to that I used (and still have on different rifles) 2 Bushnell HDMR2s, which I also quite like but I consider the Mk5 a better scope. It has (to my eye) a more forgiving eye box and is clearer edge to edge on max magnification. I ran a tall target and box test for both of them and they were both well under 1% error. So far (400 rds on match rifle, 1500+on the practice rifle) the scopes have held/returned to zero and tracked perfectly from 100 out to 1500 yards. I also quite like the CCH reticle. Having previously put thousands of rds through rifles with H59 reticles (which I still like) I found there were some features of the H59 that I didn't need or want and the CCH serves as kind of a pared down Horus reticle. If you have any specific questions, feel free to shoot me a pm (or put it in this thread).

I had couple of Vortex, bought one mk 5, now i have no more Vortex, and a couple of Mk5 Leupolds.
Like them a lot. Using Tremor 3 Reticles.

Good to see people like them. I’m looking at the non illuminated 5-25x56 in either TMR or Tremor 3. It’s for my 338 Lapua, not a match rifle so I don’t really need the tremor retical but you never know. I’m using a mk4 6.5-20 with TMR now and it’s served me well, just want to update.
