As far as cheap, I think that silver slide makes it look cheap. It looks like the SD9 which is already synonymous with cheapness.
A black-on-black one will look fine.

I am very interested in this. I love single stack pistols, they align better in my hands vs. double stack. I found even though the Glock 43 was lighter, I preferred it to my Glock 19 and my 5' tall, 90 lb wife had no problems controlling the recoil, she found the slim frame allowed her to get a better grip on the gun.
10 rounds in a semi staggered magazine in a platform about the same width of the G43 is just icing on the cake.

I'm kinda excited for this,, i saw the original 43 compact single stack at shot show 3 years ago,, and have been waiting for this full size since then...
...and people living in lands with laws that prohibit handgun magazines
capable of containing more than 10 cartridges of the type for which the magazine was originally designed and that is designed or manufactured for use in a semi-automatic handgun that is commonly available in Canada.
A Glock 48 would be good for those people too.
Weight matters, and a person wearing a steel-frame Commander will suffer greatly (compared to their experience wearing a G19).
I only wear guns when I am home in my underwear, so my experience is limited. I'll take your word for it.

I'd give this glock a try. Short stubby thumbs and fingers aren't kind with double stacks

.I bought a Gen 5, all the sight options are square at the back. The plastic one is a U shape but the night sights and the Ameriglo are three dot.
