Hi all.....I have picked up a Faz #4 that is a good candidate for restoration...anyone this side of the boarder have parts available ?...cheers

Site sponsor Ellwood Epps has quite a few parts. Numrich out of the US has lots of parts. I deal with both. Tradex parts are dwindling. Ebay is usually pricey but when in a pinch,,

E-Bay is usually pricey but when in a pinch you're giving money to the people who want to take your firearms away from you.
Numrich, now Gunparts(for 20 + years), has No. 4 Lee-Enfield parts listed under SMLE for some daft reason. And a $35US export fee.

Make one. A bad screwdriver with a diameter close or smaller than the screw itself, grind end square them use a dremel to groove it out and fit the screw top. They work well and if done right your so called buddy's will like it more than you.

That's odd to dig up a 4 year old thread to post this question in.

Are you referring to the tool used to loosen the sight blade set screw? It is easily made by grinding down an old screwdriver.

Kindly share pics when you’re done! Love to see these restos I’ve been debating on a MLM project myself but alas not sure I have the patience to locate parts. Wished we had our own Numrich is Canada...

When you do a rifle of any kind, the price of exc/mint parts is the real issue. It takes a long time to put it all together.
I have 19 sets of new British Number 4 wood. Took eight years to do it!
In the end,handguards were the hardest part. The for ends and butts were easy, no one wanted them at the time.
New is still new
