New black 9mm bull pup non restricted Jardinc j68

You can get an NR CX4 on the EE for $850 shipped once in a while, and regularly for 950-1000. While not quite a bullpup, it is the most amazingly dependable rifle I have ever seen. I saw some of them go through tens of thousands of rounds with no issue, and those rifles probably had already 80-100K through them before that (with the odd part replaced here and there). All the while the 9mm AR-15s and HK USC 45 carbines would break down after a few thousand rounds at most. They would have long spurts in between cleanings and that didn't affect function at all. I have heard good things from the guys at the range that the Tavors, and CZ EVOs are doing well too, but not really a surprise there.

CZ Evo is my next purchase. Almost bought one a week ago. Still waiting for the right deal. The one I could have bought at a great price was in FDE. I prefer that firearm in black.

finally High Point has a wingman to make it look attractive.

Was thinking the same thing. Only I think the hi point looks a lot better.

Tenda has the cz evo on sale right now for 1029$ new

an ugly gun-bad accuracy if you can even call it that---basically a monstrosity

Maybe they can put in a match grade safety, or stamp DMR on the side since it has a longer barrel. That should tighten up the groups :p

How bad can it be? Is it even possible to make a rifle made in North America shoot worse than 6 MOA these days.

Tough crowd out here.... :)

We brought the Jard J68 to Canada to increase the NR stock in the country and give you more options. Ugly not ugly, that's subjective, but in the end we hope that the shooter will enjoy his/her time with this rifle. Alongside the experience, we always try our best to reduce the MSRP as much as we can, and hopefully as quantities and sales increase, we can negotiate better pricing in the future, and pass along the savings.

Its always hard to introduce a new product, especially if the past attempts have been mucked by bad experiences, or bad after support.

You wouldn't think by the comments here, but so far, the amount of interest we get over emails, and phone is really amazing. We are well on our way to the third order. :) and we thank each and every one of you who will be buying this bullpup, and rest assured, we will be here supporting you along the way!

JARD ON!!!

Haters gonna hate. I for one am excited, for all the reasons expressed in this thread but also for a reason I have yet to hear articulated. It's made out of metal, not Tupperware.

I've had a lot of NR 9mm offerings over the years, and currently own my 2nd CX4 and 2nd X95 (in 9mm), and while they are both a lot of fun and have their merits the plastic chassis has always been a strike against them in my books. I've had a couple T97s over the years too and the one I had with the LHG and FTU I thought was fantastic. The metal vs. plastic made all the difference to me.

Very interested to hear some more range reports on the Jard, it sounds very promising to me so far. YMMV.

It's just an intriguing marketing strategy Jard has to keep a fairly simple and inexpensive construction priced high while charging extras. Higher than mainstream quality rifles. I'll get one nevertheless.

The more "interesting" marketing stratagey is the lack of reviews down south for a product model that is over a year old... ?
I guess with all the options down south they might not be a big seller at their current price point, but why not send a few samples out to the usual suspects for review?

Oh, it's ugly, and that's objective. That said, with guns, function over form isn't a flaw.

I agree function first and then form is a bonus..... that said, there have been some reported function issues with the new J68.

Simple design, rough around the edges...... needs to function 100%.

Anyone have a range report to share? I'm still very intrigued by these.

Shot one last week. Not a bad little gun really. Clamshell takedown is slightly strange. Offhand at 25M and Irons I made a 2" Group. Benched w Irons I held 1" at 25, and 2.5 at 50.. with an optic I am sure that could be improved. I then benched to 100m and held5" high on target, and the little rounds were in a 9" circle around the intended POA.

Moving to 250, predictably bad.. so was the barn hall ammo, lol.

If I were into 9mm, it would make a nice plinker.

Built like Russian Tank.... probably outlast one too. Trigger is damn nice, something that you cannot claim on many bullpups.

Where did you watch them go through tens of thousands of rounds?
Sounds kinda fishy since I've never seen these as an overly popular rifle and I don't see them at the range often but you've found a place where you saw more than one go through tens of thousands of rounds?
I'm in no way saying these are not quality rifles I just find your story a little hard to believe unless there is some special place where these are extremely popular and people stand lined up with loaded magazines waiting for their turn on a CX4.
Maybe you work at an indoor range where they rent these. That would be a good place to observe firearms for reliability.

Calgary shooting center.... their rental CX4 had roughly 60,000 rnds thru it when me and a buddy rented it. It definitely looked well used, but still shot excellent! The bolt release was long since busted off. The CSC supposedly retired that firearm a few months later.

Wild west shooting centre. I ran the range for a while. We get a lot of volume through there.
