The 9mm sw mp is proving to be too much for little wrists, she likes revolvers. Looking for a double action, preferably 8 to 10 round, what would you recommend?

My GF has the SP101. I love it in both DA/SA but there is no way she can pull the DA. SA no prob she really likes it. Built like a tank too. Nice sights. Pricey.

If she has small hands I would consider an alloy Alfa Proj 4.5". They have very small grips and the alloy model would be lighter. Also can get them with an extra 22 wmr cylinder.

I have a steel one and shoots great.

While I love the 617, it may be too heavy for a small person to shoot for any length of time. I haven't shot the Ruger so I can't say if it is any lighter.

This is what I was thinking, too. Not the same quality, but still nice. I have one, too, with the 6" barrel, in steel.

Not a revolver, but my wife just bought her first handgun, a Browning 1911-22. It's 85% of a full size gun.
Perhaps she might like something like that.

It was supposed to be a present for me but she took a shine to it and decided to keep it...:ang

A re-barreled SW model 34 Kit Gun. They are common but I don't know if the Restricted barrels are available.

The quality and trigger pull would be orders of magnitude better than an Alfa

The Browning or the SP-01 would be my suggestion for small hands. The SP01 is a fun little gun to run ammo through all afternoon for next to nothing.

A big vote for the SW 617. My 8 year old daughter loves it and will shoot it for days. Its heavy, but that's a feature. I had mine tuned up by a SW certified smith who lightened up both the SA and DA trigger, and its perfect for anyone.

You might consider a High Standard Sentinel. Good shooting revolvers; should be able to find a nice one for a couple of hundred bucks or less.
