Help needed to ID these old pistols

Happy New Year
I have had these for a number of years and often wondered what stories they could tell. Besides the obvious BP, cap lock , ball etc etc. I am wanting to find out possible country of origin, era , etc. They have rotating double barrels making each a two shot . Hammers have 2 positions with a safety latch in both settings. thank-you for your expertise.

Very nice, I had a single shot made in Birmingham that was mounted the exact same, and had almost the same grip.

I was told the barrels screw out with a wrench from the muzzle, anyone know for certain ? [i have not attempted to remove the bbls]

Yes they do. It’s called a barrel key. It inserts in those cuts that look like aggressive rifling.

The first gun I ever shot was an over under screw barrel flintlock pistol by Henry Nock, at age 12, barrels were removed with a barrel key the same way yours is.

Yes, there would have been a tool that engaged the star-shaped grooves in the muzzle. You will notice that is not the rifling and only extends into the muzzles a cm or so. With removed barrels these were loaded with powder and ball at the breech then the barrels threaded back on. This allowed a very tight fit vs. loading from the muzzle and that created higher pressures and more power.

Nope.
Not a lot though because condition is poor. Here is a comparator but in fine condition and of course like Tula's Nock of old, these are flinters with steel tap barrels rather than percussion and rotating brass barrels. So far my experience has been that buyers are few so price is soft even if appraised value is high. I really do admire your grips.
My guns are currently at the smith's as he is making me a barrel key.

Over $500 but under $1000 in my opinion. Better condition and flint as opposed to percussion would up the estimate.

Agreed. In the condition yours are in they aren’t collectors. I’d clean them fix them and use them. Personally I wouldn’t pay much for a set like that in that condition.
