Technically one round of 22wmr has damn near as much energy as a 9mm due to the fact that velocity is squared in the formula for kinetic energy. (KE=1/2mv^2)

However it falls way behind in terms of momentum (P=mv)...

I don't think so. The double 1911 technically has 2 triggers. This thing has 1 trigger for 2 shots per pull.

i laughed at the press release saying you could get 8 rounds out in 3 seconds..i was like, oh yeah, Jerry Miculek did 6 shots a reload and 6 more shots in 2.7 seconds...so there!

It doesn't fire shots in "rapid succession", it fires them at the same time. So not exactly full auto.

look at your normal revolver sequence you will need an octagonal or some such configuration in the cylinder to work think about it.
