NIB Colt LE6920!!!

Part of the price has to be 3rd party import fees for sure. Must have been quite a hell to bring those buggers in Canada, considering Colt doesn't have any export permits to Canada anymore...

Cool aid is cool, but man there are better deals out there. IMHO the best entry value for mil spec is a stag and the best kitted up value for mil spec is a LMT with SOMCOM stock, inhanced bolt etc. Both good kit and you save thousands.

Buying a NIB colt LE is nothing but a wall hanger now or loose a thousand bucks off the top first round down range.:(

Nonetheless, it's an awesome peice in a collection, or for a Colt affectionado I think. A used Colt sells over 2k now, and theres plenty of people digging in their pockets for one. Gotta love that little horse on the reciever!!!

For that price, I would go for a Black Special too ( unresticted is nice ). Are the prices in the US way up aslo ? Maybe the LE6920 is just not coming out the factory due to the miltary orders.... the special part of Colts ( from what I have read ) is 10,000 round accuracy and reliability

I know there has always been a premium for a Colt, even in the States. I don't know what their availability is like right now down there though...

It is a 16" which seems to be a good length for CQ and hitting stuff further out

Edit >>> 2 min too slow .... or vondnik was too fast

$3000 seems to be a base line for what the market will bare whether it is a Tavor or Sig PE 90 regardless of what they are worth or what would seem 'reasonable'.
If these sell for above that, you can bet the next batch of rifles will be priced accordingly....

thanks vondnik and sabre. in looking at it I thought 14 inches or so would be more in proportion to the front handguard length but 16 inches would give more effective range as sabre says-and I suppose optics with bullet drop compensators would be based on the muzzle velocity of a military round and a 16 inch barrel.

Given that used Colt LE6920's have been going for @ $2,800 on the EE recently the price being asked for a NIB with original packaging, etc. isn't out of line (IMOH).

cornsidering mine was 1100 back in 91, but i got a scope and mount with, along with a m9 bayonet and 2- 20 round mags- it was nib too- in case you didn't notice, this one's been gelded

Oh I don't think anyone is accusing you of gouging.... after all, if no one is willing to pay that much, it just won't sell! (but, I'm sure it will!).

Are there any NIB 6921's in-country? Personally, I don't consider an 'M4' unless it has a 14.5" barrel. :D
